My Jeep: 92 XJ Sport

 H.O. in non-H.O Installed 93 cherokee injectors in my 87 cherokee. ran like crap. unhooked the battery and rehooked it, ran good lots of power! left it a couple days, drove it last night, no power boggy but idles alright. heres the fun part, it actually shot fire out of the tail pipe last night when i was revving it. shot a good foot long flame out the tail pipe. what the hell did i do to my jeep! do i need to upgrade something else for this thing to run properly?

Re: What was done to your Jeep this week? Running H.O. injectors in a non-H.O. engine. The pressure is probably a little high and the extra fuel has nowhere to go but out the tailpipe. Basically almost flooding the engine.

Re: What was done to your Jeep this week? So would changing the intake fix it? put the h.o. intake on my no h.o engine?

Re: H.O. in non-H.O to give it the proper fuel to air ratio it is recommended to change the intake as well. as that is what i have read on tons of cherokee forumns
and you know i have the matching intake to those injectors if you want it. just come get it
