Post Sidewall tear
So, those fancy new 35's I bought seem to have developed a tear in the sidewall, causing a leak... Looks like it's probably from coming in contact with the fenders of the Jeep it was previously mounted on... Guess that's what I get for buying used tires after they were in a serious accident... :bang:  :swear :grrr:

I know sidewall repair is usually a no-go, but to be honest, I'm looking for someone to say, "Hey Ed, I know this guy that does 'em! In fact he's done a few of mine and I've NEVER had any problems!" or "Don't listen to what the entire internet says on the subject, they don't know what they're talking about! There's no problem with repairing a sidewall puncture, that's just a conspiracy drummed up by the tire manufacturers!"

Anybody gots any helps to offer?

how often will you drive with them and sideawall repair is not a bad idea.. an idea but don't rely on the tire.. once repaired you are with it and another blow out your kinda hooped. done lots on tires on the farm and never a problem. done it myself with taking an old tire and mounting and bolting to the tire with the tear on the swather. then ended up with a tube inside anyways..
