So, those fancy new 35's I bought seem to have developed a tear in the sidewall, causing a leak... Looks like it's probably from coming in contact with the fenders of the Jeep it was previously mounted on... Guess that's what I get for buying used tires after they were in a serious accident...
I know sidewall repair is usually a no-go, but to be honest, I'm looking for someone to say, "
Hey Ed, I know this guy that does 'em! In fact he's done a few of mine and I've NEVER had any problems!" or "
Don't listen to what the entire internet says on the subject, they don't know what they're talking about! There's no problem with repairing a sidewall puncture, that's just a conspiracy drummed up by the tire manufacturers!"
Anybody gots any helps to offer?
