as the 4x4 did not engage in the yj properly and i got stuck i decided to re-arrange and make the front bumper on the grand a lil nicer... so as i pulled it out i made a big hole where the fog lamp and washer bottle go. now no fluid and big hole in bumper.. so damn sexy but i love it. looks good

Tested almost everything under the hood.

I had a problem yesterday on the way home from work. The jeep started bucking and alomost stalling. Ended up being a long drive home. The jeep eventually threw a code 51 when i did the key on/off trick.

So today:
- check the spark plugs for spark and ensure proper gap.
- confirm fuel pump pressure (steady 39psi)
- test O2 sensor Ohms upstream and down stream
- test MAP sensor output voltage
- test ignition coil, primary and secondary
- check all vacuum lines

Started the jeep and it runs fine until it completely warms up then it starts stumbling, then bucking and cutting out when throttle is applied, which lead me to the TPS sensor. I checked the output voltage on it and there was low voltagfe at idle and no voltage at WOT. New part on order from NAPA, not here til friday.

installed half the lift last night. suppose to be 2.5 to 3.5 inch lift and so far it's more like 5 inch lift. but maybe when the front comes up, the rear mgiht level out to the front to the hopefully 3 inch lift. so far happy but rusted bolts and 2.5 hours later for two leaf's. ah what can you do. taking a night off to talk jeep and then back at it thursday night. also ordered brand new rancho shocks though wheeler will over @ PR. cheap. i like the price. install those as well. complete lift with shocks and t-case drop will cost me less than 300 bucks installed. wait. i have to buy a 24 of beer. so 340 bucks. oh wait, pizza too, 360 bucks. haha. also trying to install front tow points and saving money to buy a rear tow point off a member of ours. after the lift is done i'm thinking still of 1 inch body and a really nice set of 33X10.50R15 mudders. if a long drive i will pull the wrangler with my other jeep project. sourced and made plans on buying 4.5 lift for 250 buck. just need shocks and also in talks about a long arm conversion with front and rear bumpers.. any volunteers to help with that lift. parts not as old and rusty. so should work..

finished the lift. got 3 inches in the front and 3-3/4 in the rear. plus i have my front all hooked up to the old shocks and all still. so bottomed out and maybe another 1/2 inch i'm hoping. new springs are on there way and new brake lines as well for the front. all will be good. also two tow points up front on the bumper and making one for the rear. now i need a set of 32's or 33's for cheap if anyone has any for sale

Finally got around to changing out the u-joints on my spare front axle shafts. All set to go for when the ones in the heep get worn out. Took a bit to get the c-clips out as they were rusted in pretty good, busted a screwdriver doing them.

Nice!

3/4 done on Christine's (formerly Foxy Red) rocker panels. Just 2 more coats of *cough* bondo on the driver's side, and then its prime and rocker guard. Passenger side done, looks great so far.

don't have pictures but installed my 33's onto the rims, replacing a wheel stud and a few new nuts and then getting more dirty. whomever says a jeep is meant to be clean never read their owners manual. those who wash jeeps are blinger!!!!!! or close to.

Christine got her rockers finished ... finally!!!!!! woooooh000000 dunzo... And the front valance firmly re-attached.

Helped Mark pull the front axle and test fit the replacement D44 military. Last week helped pull the engine and remove un-needed componants from the front end. This thing is going to be cool!
