The WJA is a
small family orientated, community minded, and environmentally
conscious group of Jeep owners who are interested in changing the
stereotype image of Four Wheel Drive enthusiasts. We promote
Responsible 4WD practices in order to protect our sport as a
valid recreational activity and to ensure a future of Jeeping
for generations to come. Likewise, we have a vested interest in
preserving Jeep history and promoting the Jeep lifestyle both
past and present.
Our goals
are to educate, preserve, and maintain. We are trail users, not
trail abusers.
Tread Lightly principles have been our modus operandi since our inception and
an aspect we encourage publicly and enforce actively within our
Association.
We welcome new Jeep owners to join our ranks and
learn the ins and outs of using their Jeep for what it was built
in a safe and controlled environment. Likewise long time Jeepers
are welcome to share their skills and experience. Our Members' experience
ranges from extensive to minimal likewise our collection of
Jeeps range from stock to purpose built and practically every
model of Jeep from 1980's to present.
True to our mandate and
the Jeep brand of products, the WJA welcomes all types of Jeeps
and Jeepers into our Association. If you like trails and
wilderness adventure, you will have plenty of opportunity to
enjoy some of Manitoba's 4WD offerings. Likewise, if you are a
restorer or collector, then perhaps the car show circuit is more
to your liking. We can accommodate all Jeep models and
interests. Wartime, Classic, Custom, Current, Daily Driver,
Trail use or Street/show.
Owners, collectors, and
restorers... If you are seeking a
Jeeping community with a difference and are interested in
working towards maintaining access and trails for your
grandchildren, appreciating all things throughout Jeep's long
and exceptionally interesting history, sharing experiences and knowledge
with fellow enthusiasts, enjoying
quality trail time with friends and family, and just living the Jeep life
in the best way we know how, the WJA may
be your kind of Jeep club.

Though trail driving and exploration is our main focus, it is not a
requirement. The beauty and appreciation of early Jeeps, show Jeeps,
military Jeeps, and
unusual Jeeps is just as important. Contact your local WJA representative for more
information or to arrange a meeting to discuss Membership.
Alternatively, join us at one of our weekly Meet n'Greets found
here by District.
